Rules

Bo!Chalet is a property manager representing the owners of tourist residences, and we accept no liability on their behalf.

We reserve the right to transfer guests to another equivalent property if the current rental property becomes unavailable, if essential services are interrupted, or for any other valid reason that prevents us from welcoming guests under normal rental conditions.

We are not responsible for short-term loss of services such as internet, television, telephone, water, or any other aspect beyond our control.

Rental rules :

  • The tenant is responsible for the rented property and its contents. The tenant assumes full responsibility for any persons to whom they grant access. They must behave in a manner that does not disturb the peace and quiet of neighboring residents or damage equipment, fixtures, furniture, or any other property on the property.
  • The tenant must be at least 30 years old.
  • Under no circumstances shall the landlord be held liable for any damage, loss, or theft suffered by the tenant and their guests.
  • Parties and events are prohibited.
  • It is forbidden to use a speaker or sound amplifier other than those provided for this purpose.
  • The cottage is non-smoking, which includes: cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos, vaporizers, cannabis, etc. Failure to comply will result in a penalty of CAD 200.
  • Pets are prohibited.
  • Bedding and towels are provided for reasonable use. A washer and dryer are available to the tenant if needed.
  • A complete cleaning of the property is included in the rental price and will be performed at the end of the stay only. However, the tenant agrees to maintain the premises in a reasonable state of cleanliness, including leaving the kitchen clean and running the dishwasher before leaving; otherwise, they will be subject to a surcharge at the landlord's discretion.
  • Only electric fondue sets are permitted.
  • Any breakage or damage must be reported to the landlord as soon as possible.
  • The rental rate includes snow removal and the application of abrasives on the access road and parking lot.
  • Although the landlord has taken all reasonable measures to ensure the property is safe and easily accessible, the tenant must understand that the cottage may be located in mountainous terrain and that Quebec is a northern country. Therefore, the tenant assumes full responsibility for it. Under no circumstances will the landlord be held liable for any problems related to the terrain or weather conditions. This includes, among other things, the condition of roads, paths, walkways, and pedestrian access. Any injuries resulting from a fall or any other accident or damage to vehicles will be the tenant's responsibility. Any vehicle repairs will be at the tenant's expense.
  • During the rental period, any damage not attributable to normal wear and tear caused by the tenant to the building, furniture, equipment, accessories, or grounds will be the tenant's responsibility. If applicable, reasonable costs equivalent to the cost of repairing or replacing the damaged property will be charged.
  • The 3.5% Quebec lodging tax is included in the published rates.
  • For security purposes, cameras are installed outside the chalets. These cameras are located only at entrances and in areas where the occupants' privacy cannot be observed. The chalets are also equipped with a decibel meter. This device measures noise intensity and alerts you if there is excessive noise that could affect the comfort of the neighborhood.

Regulations regarding open-air fires, where permitted:

  • Open-air fires are permitted ONLY in the designated area.
  • The fire must be under the constant supervision of the tenant, and this person must be of legal age.
  • The fire supervisor is responsible for the fire and must be willing to take the necessary and appropriate measures to maintain control and completely extinguish it before leaving the premises.
  • A garden hose is available for extinguishing the fire.
  • The height of the fire must not exceed one meter (1 m) or three feet (3').
  • Open-air fires are prohibited: On days when wind speeds exceed twenty kilometers per hour (20 km/h).
  • Burning any source other than cut wood and/or tree branches or firewood is strictly prohibited.
  • Fueling or maintaining a fire with an accelerant is prohibited.
  • The municipality reserves the right to immediately extinguish any fire or to carry out extinguishment if it deems that smoke, embers, embers, or sparks are causing a nuisance to the neighborhood, if a complaint has been filed with the municipality, or if it deems that there is a risk to the safety of people or the integrity of neighborhood property.
  • Fires must be extinguished no later than 11 p.m.

The tenant agrees to:

  • Read the instructions and regulations and communicate them to their companions and guests.
  • Do not exceed the maximum capacity.
  • Return the premises and equipment to the same condition as upon arrival and leave the furniture in its proper place.
  • Dispose of waste in the trash and transfer it to the outdoor bins provided for this purpose.
  • Do not throw anything down the sinks, toilets, or bathtubs that could clog the drains; otherwise, the costs incurred for their repair will be at the tenant's expense.
  • Lock the doors and windows when you are away.
  • Use the premises, furniture, and objects as usual.
  • Keep the spa water clean, clear, and free of foam to avoid a $200 CAD surcharge.
  • Reimburse any damage or extra cleaning you may have caused. In the event of non-compliance with these rules by the tenant or their guests, the landlord reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement and evict the tenant and their guests immediately. In this case, the landlord will retain any amount paid to them without the possibility of reimbursement.
